Location: Remote from the UK, Ireland, Switzerland, or Poland, with the option to work from a Logitech office in these locations if preferred.
The Team and Role:
Logitech’s CAD Team is at the center of innovation and new product development work, maintaining close collaboration with ME (mechanical engineering), ID (industrial design), CMF (colour, material & finish) and UX (user experience). We have a passion for cutting-edge CAD tools and workflows, a great understanding of manufacturing and a keen eye for details. Challenging problems excite us and our work helps put fantastic products in the hands of millions globally.
As a Computational Design Intern, you will be building Grasshopper scripts to generate interesting patterns that beautifully balance function and aesthetics. You will be leading a project where you will be exploring new ways to get these scripts in the hands of a wide range of stakeholders across the organisation. This job is perfect for a student with strong Grasshopper experience and great communication skills.
The expected start date for this role is June 2026 - 6 months duration.

Use Grasshopper to make complex and intricate geometry a reality
Meet with stakeholders to understand their viewpoints (ID, ME, CMF, UX, etc.)
Explore new tools to lower the barrier of entry to computational design
Build Grasshopper scripts that are robust, flexible and quick
Key Qualifications:
Currently pursuing or recently graduated (within the past 12 months) from a degree in engineering, architecture, design, or equivalent
Great problem-solving skills with a hunger for learning
Experience with 3D CAD tools (bonus if you have advanced skills in Rhino)
Experience with Grasshopper is a must (please submit portfolio)
Programming experience is a bonus, but not required
Ability to break down and organize complex problems into logical pieces
Great presentation skills (verbal, written and visual)
Experience with Adobe Illustrator and other Adobe CC tools is a bonus
Strong English communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
