Brian Barber, Zippo’s Product Engineering Manager, and his looking for a design intern. There are plenty of design projects in the queue and it would give this person the opportunity to also work closely with engineers, who are focused on DFM. As you can imagine, the transition of designs from Industrial Designers to Product Engineers can sometimes be anything but smooth. This internship will give the person experience working with Product Engineers, which will pay dividends down the road.
