Junior Designer

Summary:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Designer to join our dynamic design team. As a Junior Designer at Viva Railings, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, collaborate with experienced professionals, and contribute to the development of cutting-edge railing solutions.   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and production, to ensure design feasibility and practicality.

  • Assist the senior design team in creating innovative and aesthetically pleasing railing designs based on client specifications and project requirements.

  • Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to develop accurate and detailed design drawings, models, and renderings.

  • Conduct research on emerging design trends, materials, and manufacturing techniques to continuously improve product offerings.

  • Prepare and maintain design documentation, including specifications, bill of materials, and design standards.

  • Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance design concepts and prototypes.

  • Assist with prototype development and testing, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards.

  • Support the design team in generating presentations, visual aids, and marketing materials to showcase Viva Railings' products and capabilities.

  • Stay updated with industry standards and best practices, incorporating them into design processes and methodologies.

  • Collaborate with project managers and sales teams to ensure timely completion of design deliverables and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field.

  • Previous experience or internships in a design-related role is preferred but not required.

  • Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.

  • Strong creativity and artistic skills with the ability to develop visually appealing and functional designs.

  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with precision in a fast-paced environment.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members and present design concepts.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials used in the construction industry is a plus.

  • Familiarity with rendering software, such as 3ds Max or Rhino, would be advantageous.

  • A portfolio showcasing design projects, demonstrating proficiency in concept development and visualization, is highly desirable.

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift Monday to Friday

  • Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • CAD: 1 year (Preferred) Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
