Summary:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Designer to join our dynamic design team. As a Junior Designer at Viva Railings, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, collaborate with experienced professionals, and contribute to the development of cutting-edge railing solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and production, to ensure design feasibility and practicality.
Assist the senior design team in creating innovative and aesthetically pleasing railing designs based on client specifications and project requirements.
Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to develop accurate and detailed design drawings, models, and renderings.
Conduct research on emerging design trends, materials, and manufacturing techniques to continuously improve product offerings.
Prepare and maintain design documentation, including specifications, bill of materials, and design standards.
Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance design concepts and prototypes.
Assist with prototype development and testing, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
Support the design team in generating presentations, visual aids, and marketing materials to showcase Viva Railings' products and capabilities.
Stay updated with industry standards and best practices, incorporating them into design processes and methodologies.
Collaborate with project managers and sales teams to ensure timely completion of design deliverables and client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field.
Previous experience or internships in a design-related role is preferred but not required.
Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
Strong creativity and artistic skills with the ability to develop visually appealing and functional designs.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with precision in a fast-paced environment.
Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members and present design concepts.
Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials used in the construction industry is a plus.
Familiarity with rendering software, such as 3ds Max or Rhino, would be advantageous.
A portfolio showcasing design projects, demonstrating proficiency in concept development and visualization, is highly desirable.

Experience:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
