We are seeking an intelligent, highly motivated, Industrial Designer with great skill who is eager to learn! This person will support our EVP of Industrial Design & Innovation, our Senior Manager of Industrial Design, and our Technical Writer. They will be responsible for contributing to production industrial Design programs across over 50 categories in 6 continents. The Designer will function as an integral extension of the core Industrial Design Team here in Columbus, Ohio. The position is based in Columbus, Ohio.

Requirements:

- Must exude positive energy and Innovative ideas

- Must have strong digital Sketching and visualization skills

(Photoshop sketching a plus)

- Comfortable supporting multiple production projects in parallel

- Thrives in a team setting

- Excited to present ideas to other professionals frequently

- Must be adept in the production of 3D concept models

(SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Rhino, Alias, Pro E, Catia)

- Will maintain highly productive work ethic

- Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills

Education:

- Student or Recent Graduate of an accredited Industrial Design Program

- 0-2 Years relevant Industrial Design experience

Job Functions:

- Develop innovative product concepts in collaboration with Partner companies

- In depth sketch and form development of new consumer products

- Evaluate quality of production samples

- Create and test and execute ergonomic solutions at a very high level

- Implement Westinghouse New Brand Design Language

- Evaluate and drive user experience on a diverse range of consumer products
