ICC/Chick-fil-A Internship for the ICC Class of 2023

Chick-fil-A and the ICC are offering the class of 2023 students the opportunity for a 2022 summer internship.

There are two phases of the internship.

Phase 1: Ethnographic Research

Students will work part-time for Chick-fil-A (Tuttle and/or Sawmill locations)) during the summer months to gain first-hand experience in store-based delivery. While working as a Chick-fil-A employee, students will also conduct and document research on culture, operational efficiencies and other important insights related to store-based delivery. Students must meet Chick-fil-A employee criteria and will be paid directly by Chick-fil-A for phase one. Applicants must be able to start at Chick-fil-A by June 1, 2022 (sooner preferred).

Phase 2: Analyzing Challenges and Opportunities

The second phase of the internship will begin on July 11, 2022 and continue through August 5, 2022. Students will work alongside ICC staff to document research findings from phase one and apply design thinking methodologies to develop a project brief to solve delivery-related problems. Students will be paid by the ICC at a rate of $15/hour and will work between 30 and 40 hours per week. Students also have the option to continue their employment at Chick-fil-A during this time.
